Who Am I?

You may be wondering exactly who I am. Here's some additional information about me!  I was born and raised in a small town in East Texas and now I reside in the Dallas metroplex.  My parents call me a "city girl" now but I will always adore the love and camaraderie of small towns.

Next to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, my family is the most important thing in the world to me. I am married to my prince charming and am blessed to live my fairy tale life with him daily.  I have a little sister whom I adore and the the best parents a girl could ever wish for.

I strive to live each day on purpose and savor every moment of my life! I love all things sparkly, dancing, watching movies, traveling, pumpkin spice lattes, and pizza.

When is your birthday?
July 27, 1983!! Yes, I'm willing to share the year with you because I believe that life is precious and each day is a gift.  I am proud of every year the Lord has blessed me to live.

What School did you attend?
I am a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2005.  I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.  I, also, have an Associates Degree from Kilgore College.

How'd you meet your husband?
We met through mutual friends at church and dated long distance for 1.5 yrs before getting engaged!

What do you do for a living?
I am a civil engineer for a local water utility. I also own my own Mary Kay business.  These two career choices balance each other out perfectly!!

Who has influenced you most in life?
Jesus Christ.  There truly is no other standard.  As believers, we are called to be conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29). Therefore, it is my goal to look a little more like Him ea day and allow His life and His word to greatly influence my life.

Who are your role models?
My parents! I love them dearly and look up to them so much. They taught me how to love and modeled  how to live a life of integrity. They were also my first example of a strong and loving marriage.

How do you spend your free time?
Free time is a bit of a foreign concept for me.  I am usually on the go but when I do have down time, I love to craft or watch a movie and snuggle up on the couch with my honey and a glass of wine.

What is your favorite exercise?
I LOVE to dance!!

What is your favorite season?
I absolutely adore fall!  I love all things pumpkin flavored. I love fall fashion and I'm a coat fanatic. I love the state fair, which occurs during the fall. So much more but I'll stop there.
